With the following steps Camden can help make your home buying process much easier.
1.Evaluate if you’re ready to buy a new home.
There are several things to consider when deciding if you are ready to buy a new home. Why do you want to buy a home? What area/town do you want to live in? What kind of home can you afford? With communities all over DFW and knowledgeable sales reps, we are ready to help you answer these questions.
2. Prepare necessary documents
Regardless of whether you are purchasing or renting from Camden homes, you will need to prepare the following for application:
- Drivers License and Social Security card OR ITIN number and passport
- 3 months of bank statements
- 3 months of pay stubs
- 2 years of tax returns
3. Obtain a pre-approval for mortgage.
You can easily schedule an appointment with one of our sales reps at any of our model homes. Our sales reps can help you figure out financing and mortgage through one of our in-house lenders.
4. What kind of house to buy?
Here at Camden Homes we offer a variety of 3 and 4 bedroom floor plans to choose from to make sure you’re getting a home that fits your needs. All of our homes come with a fully appliance kitchen along with a washer and dryer included.
5. Make your offer.
Once you have found a house you want to buy, the next step is to submit a written offer- which is one of the requirements for home buying in the state of Texas. Our sales rep will help significantly during this process.
6. Inspect the home.
Our sales rep and builder will be onsite to walk you through the home so you can see the quality of our construction throughout the home building process.
7. Close on your new home.
It’s closing day! This means that the seller has received the money for the property, and you receive the deed and keys to your new home! Congratulations!
