Introducing our ‘What to Know’ series, where we’ll cover important things to consider when preparing to buy a home. The first blog gives you an outline of the process.
Buying a house, especially as a first-time buyer, can be a wholesome and life-changing event. At Camden Homes, we pride ourselves in making the home buying process an easy experience for you.
Learn About Camden Homes
Bottom line: we want you to trust us. Learn about who we are, what we do, how we do it, and what areas we work in by speaking with one of our sales representatives or visiting our website.
Discuss Mortgage Qualifications
We understand that one size doesn’t necessarily fit all, so we have several financing programs. By speaking with a sales representative and our in-house lender, you can find out what program you qualify for.
Choose Your Home
Based on what you qualify for, we’ll take you on a tour of different floorplans. With several models and even more upgrades to choose from, you’re bound to find the right home at the right price.
Complete the Mortgage Process
Once we’ve found your dream home, we will give you a list of required documents to get the loan process started. If you choose to finance through our preferred lender, we’ll cover up to $6,500 in closing costs!
Pre-Construction Walk-Through
One of the great things about Camden Homes is that construction is always in-house, so you are guaranteed consistent Camden Quality. Your builder will meet with you to finalize plans before construction begins and throughout the construction process.
Final Walk-Through
To make sure you are more than satisfied with your home, your builder will meet you for an Orientation Walk, where you can inspect your new home before closing.
Close on Your New Home and Move In!
The final step is the best step—this is when you get to reverse the U-Haul into your driveway, start unloading, and make yourself at home!
We hope you have a better understanding of where to start – and we hope that’s with us! We have available homes for purchase or lease across North and East Texas. Contact us today to get in touch with one of our agents.
